When you receive a new CAC certificate, you will need to recover your old encryption key to be able to read your old encrypted email. Follow the step-by-step instructions in this guide to recover your old key pair and install it on your machine.

Once you have recovered your old encryption key, you can use the MailCrypt program to update old encrypted email to be accessible using your new CAC or certificate.
